The Rundown
Disc Golf Resort is excited to welcome back our friends at Go Throw, formerly GK Pro, to host a full weekend of exclusive events featuring some of the top disc golfers in the world on our courses at Kayak Point. These events allow attendees to get closer to the pros than any tournament and this year’s events have once again expanded to include more activities for players and spectators.

The top 20 scores from the Beat the Pros Qualifiers leading up to this weekend will compete in a Birdie or Die Showdown on the Red Course.
The final 4 will qualify for the Beat the Pros round on Friday.

Restricted Access During Events
Access to Go Throw Events will be restricted to those who are displaying their spectator or VIP pass, or who are participating in the event(s).
Parking will be managed and tickets will be checked for entry.
Outside alcohol and food prohibited on site due to our restaurant permits and licenses.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase on-site all 3 days.
Courses that are not being used for Go Throw events will be playable with purchased Single Round Passes and Day Passes. Tee times are required and can be made at the top of the Homepage.

Thanks to the Snohomish County Sport Commission for coordinating with area hotels to offer discounts to those traveling for the events!

No tickets are required to watch the Birdie or Die playoff on Thursday. Spectator tickets will be required to attend Friday’s Beat the Pros showdown, available at gothrow.com.

Do you have what it takes to “Beat The Pros” to win $10,000 CASH?!
The “Beat the Pros” qualifier rounds give players the chance to play on camera in Go Throw’s “Beat the Pros series” during the events at Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort on Friday, May 23rd. Will YOU be the one to shoot the hot round on Kayak Point Reds against touring pros and become the ultimate disc golf Cinderella story?
The “Beat the Pros” Event consists of:
1) A series of qualifier rounds leading up to the Go Throw Tour event to see who can post a top 20 score on the Red Course. There will be a 2 divisions; <1000-rated, and 1000+-rated.
2) A Birdie or Die playoff on the Red Course featuring the 20 <1000-rated players who posted a top 20 score on Thursday, May 22nd.
3) The Beat the Pros Showdown which provides the opportunity for the final 4 players who advance from the Birdie or Die playoff, and the 1000+-rated player who posted the top score, to compete in a single round of 18 on the Red Course against 4 touring pros on Friday, May 23rd.
If any of the 4 players from the <1000-rated division can post the best score and beat the pros, they win $10,000 cash! If the single player from the 1000+-rated division who advances beats all the pros, they win $1,000.

QUALIFIER ROUNDS
Registration for Qualifier Rounds will be available on discgolfscene.com. There will be several tee times per day, each day for a little over a week leading up to the Birdie or Die playoff on Thursday, May 22nd. A minimum of 3 players are required for a card/tee time to help enforce legitimacy. Players may sign up for and play as many qualifier rounds as they’d like to try to post their best score possible.
Qualifier round scores and standings will be made available and updated each day leading up to the Birdie or Die playoff so players know where they stand and the score needed to make the cut within the the top 20.
Qualifier rounds are being managed by Disc Golf Resort, so contact us with any questions.
In 2024, the final four AMS who successfully advanced through the Birdie or Die playoff were Brandon McNew, David Suyat, Gus Winecoff, and Eric Hughes.
They competed against Isaac Robinson, Joey “Buckets” Anderson, Ezra Robinson, and Alden Harris.
