Full Metal Basket
Welcome to Full Metal Basket! This will be a 2-day, 3-round tournament that utilizes all 3 of the courses that we currently have open. It is also a fundraiser for the much anticipated fully-wooded Blue Course.
The first round will be played Saturday on the Gold Course. The second and third rounds will be played on Sunday on the Red Course and the Pitch & Putt Course. All players will be playing these 3 different courses. Tee times will be assigned a week before the tournament for the first round, and then again Saturday afternoon for the Sunday rounds. On Sunday, players will play both the Red Course and the Pitch & Putt Courses with the same cardmates.
The event is sanctioned by the PDGA as a C-Tier, so rounds will be rated. Payouts will be in the form of scrip to the Kayak Point DGR Pro Shop for Ams and cash via PayPal for Pros. Divisions will be available for all player skill levels.
Registration opens Tuesday, June 28th at 6pm.
Players must pre-register and prepay through discgolfscene.com (link below).
Tee times between 8am – 1pm will be assigned about 1 week before the event for the first round on Golds on Saturday.
Player’s must check-in inside the Clubhouse at least 10-minutes prior to their tee time.

Modified Gold Course (Short tees on 6 and 17):

ROUND 2 – Sunday, Aug. 28th
Red Course:
All Pro Divisions, MA1, MA2, MA40, FA1, FA2, FA40
Red/Green Course (Short tees on 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 18):
MA3, MA4, MA50, MA60, FA3, FA4, FA50, FA60, MJ15, FJ15

TEE TIMES:
9 am to 1 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Tee times will be assigned by the TD and players will be grouped by division both days.
The first round will be played Saturday on the Gold course. The second and third rounds will be played on Sunday on the Red Course and the Pitch & Putt. Tee times will be assigned a week before the tournament for the first round, and then again Saturday evening for the Sunday rounds. On Sunday, players will play both the Red Course and the Pitch & Putt Courses with the same card mates.
For the 2nd round, tee times will be rearranged within your division by score. Your 3rd round on the Pitch & Putt will be played with the same card as your 2nd round.

PLAYER PACK:
All AM players will receive a player pack including a premium plastic disc from Dynamic Discs featuring the event artwork and more.

ACE POT:
No Aces were hit during the previous tournament for which DGR was the Tournament Director (TD), Kayak Point Break. The $1,000 cap has been achieved, so $1,000 is set aside for the first Ace and a secondary Ace Pot has been started. If the Ace pot is not hit during this event, all Ace Pot funds will continue to roll over to the next PDGA sanctioned tournament with DGR as the TD. “Aces” during Round 3 on the Par 2 Pitch & Putt Course DO NOT COUNT towards the Ace Pot.

LIVE SCORING:
Scoring for both rounds will be handled using the PDGA Live Scoring website at https://www.pdga.com/score/.
The access code will be provided at check-in.

GOLF CARTS:
Golf carts will not be available to players during tournament rounds. They will be available for rent to spectators.

Annual Pass holders receive early bird registration opportunities for all DGR tournaments.

THE BLUE COURSE:
A little about the Blues: The Blue course will be the harder of the two wooded courses at Kayak Point and features tight lines through towering trees with a lot of elevation change. It will offer a great contrast to our existing courses and we can’t wait to get everyone out there to play it!

Below is the final version of tee times for Sunday’s round on the Red Course. Players should play the third and final round on the Pitch & Putt no more than 45 minutes after they have completed their round on the Red Course.

Ace Pot
The $1,000 Ace Pot was not hit so it rolls over to Leftover Turnover II scheduled for Friday, November 25th, the next event for which Disc Golf Resort is the Tournament Director. The Ace Pot for our tournaments is capped at $1,000 and a secondary Ace Pot has been established.
