The Rundown
Disc Golf Resort was excited to host GK Pro’s first ever THREE DAY disc golf fest at Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort, presented by Glide Disc Golf Events. The event allowed attendees to get closer to the pros than any tournament with GK Pro’s widely adored Pro Skins Match on the Gold Course, a new product called “Beat the Pros” on the Red Course, Match Play on the Blue Course, and variety of activities, games, and competitions including a distance competition, an ace run challenge, a pitch & putt tournament, and more. Plus, autograph sessions and tons of opportunities for attendees to play our courses!
VIP tickets included a bunch of perks including the opportunity to play a round with the pros, happy hour with the pros, signed merch, food & drink for the weekend, and more!

Access to the property will be restricted to those with spectator passes on June 14, 15, & 16.
Parking will be managed and tickets will be checked for entry.
Outside alcohol and food prohibited on site due to our restaurant permits and licenses. Food and drinks will be available for purchase all 3 days.

Beat the Pros Qualifiers
win $10,000 cash!
Do you have what it takes to “Beat The Pros” to win $10,000 CASH?!
The “Beat the Pros” qualifier rounds give players the chance to play on camera in GK Pro’s new “Beat the Pros series” during the GK Pro Disc Golf Fest at Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort on Fri June 14th – Sun June 16th. Will YOU be the one to shoot the hot round on Kayak Point Reds against touring pros and become the ultimate disc golf Cinderella story?
The “Beat the Pros” Event consists of:
1) A series of qualifier rounds between May 24th – June 14th to see who can post the top 20 scores on the Red Course
2) A Birdie or Die playoff on Sat., June 15th during day 2 of the GK Pro Disc Golf Fest.
3) The opportunity for the final 4 players from the 999 division who advanced, and the top player from the 1000 division, to compete in a single round of 18 on the Red Course against 4 Touring Pros on Sun., June 16th during day 3 of the GK Pro Disc Golf Fest.
If any of these 4 players from the 999 division can post the best score and beat the pros, they win $10,000 cash! If the single player from the 1000 division who advances beats all the pros, they win $1,000.

QUALIFIER ROUNDS
Qualifier rounds were offered to competitors for 12 days prior to the Birdie or Die Playoff. 60 total rounds were played and 23 players made the cut. Out of the 23 players who played in the Birdie or Die Showdown, 4 players advanced to compete against the Pros.
The Final Four AMS vs. Four Touring PROS
The final four AMS who successfully advanced through the Birdie or Die Showdown were Brandon McNew, David Suyat, Gus Winecoff, and Eric Hughes.
They competed against Isaac Robinson, Joey “Buckets” Anderson, Ezra Robinson, and Alden Harris.
MC’ed by Luke Humphries, the competition was close for most of the front 9, but the Pros began to pull away later in the round. Stay tuned for video coverage of the event on GK Pro’s YouTube channel!
2023 GK Pro Skins Match
GK Pro first visited Kayak Point DGR in May 2023 to film Tour Skins #93 on the Gold Course.
