Welcome to the 2024 Winter League @ Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort!
10 Sundays from Jan. 7th – March 10th, 2024. Play as many or as few events as you wish. No requirement to play a certain number of weeks. ALL registered league players can play additional rounds after their league round as part of their included Day Pass.
Players will be able to choose their tee time based on the available spots between 9am – 12pm.
Rounds will be rated for PDGA members. Player ratings will be submitted and finalized at the end of the league series though weekly tentative round ratings will available.
Points awarded for each event attended and the number of players you beat in your division. Trophies awarded to the points leader in each division at the end of the league series.

PLAYER CHECK-IN:
Player check-in will be inside the clubhouse. All players must check in at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time.

LIVE SCORING:
Scoring will be handled using the PDGA Live Scoring feature at https://www.pdga.com/score/ and the access code will be provided at check-in.

ACE POT:
As of the start of the league series, the Ace pot of $600 has rolled over from the previous league series. It is capped at $600 so a Backup Ace Pot can build so it doesn’t start at $0 after an Ace is hit. Once the Backup Ace Pot hits $600, the Main Ace Pot will continue to grow without a cap until an Ace is hit.
If the Ace pot does not get hit, it will carry over to the next week. Any Ace Pot money remaining at the end of league will carry over to the next league.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
As per PDGA rules drinking alcohol is permitted during league (PDGA leagues are the only sanctioned rounds that allow drinking). Must be of legal drinking age and adhere to WA state laws and KPDGR rules.
Motorized golf carts will not be allowed for players during league rounds (we do not have enough for every player). They will be available for rent for spectators.
Registration
Players must register and prepay for each event through Discgolfscene.com, or in the Pro Shop prior to the start of each week’s event. A link to each week’s event can be found below. Cards of 3 or 4 players are required and may include players from a mix of divisions since all divisions play the same layout each week.
Over the course of the series, players will compete on the Red Course, the Red/Green Course (9 of the longest red course holes have been shortened to be around 350′ or less), and a modified version of the Gold Course (shortened tees on holes 6 & 17).

Payouts
Payouts will happen following each event with cash via PayPal for Pros, and scrip for Amateurs will be loaded onto gift cards in the Pro Shop. Scrip can be used on anything on the property. After each event, a link to view the payouts will be added below. Payouts will also be shared through our Facebook page and on the Events Bulletin Board in the clubhouse.

EVENT PARTICIPANT COVID-19 WAIVER:
“I understand that participation in this event carries with it risk of injury or death and I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, administrators, executors, and assigns expressly release, forever discharge, and hold harmless Kayak Point Winter League, the Tournament Director, Disc Golf Resort, and the PDGA (the “Releasees”) for all personal injury, loss, damage to property, or death in connection with my participation in this event. Further, I understand and acknowledge that there currently exists a global pandemic associated with the disease COVID-19, that I am participating in this event at my own risk, that any safety precautions designed to protect against the spread of COVID-19 undertaken by the Releasees does not guarantee I will not contract COVID-19, and that, the foregoing notwithstanding, it is my specific intent to affirm my foregoing release of the Releasees with respect to any personal injury, loss, damage to property, or death I may experience from COVID-19 in connection with my participation in this event.”
