Welcome to the 2023 Winter League @ Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort!

8 Sundays from Jan. 8th – Feb. 26th. Play as many, or as few events, as you wish. No requirement to play a certain number of weeks. ALL registered league players can play additional rounds the same day as part of their included day pass.

Players will be able to choose their tee time based on the available spots between 9am – 1pm.

Rounds will be rated for current PDGA members. Player ratings will be submitted at the end of this league series.

Points awarded for each event attended. Trophies awarded to the points leader in each division at the end of league.

ENTRY FEE = $25/player

Breakdown of Entry Fees:
– $12 Reduced Day Pass + PDGA fee
– $13 to weekly Payouts

– $2 optional Ace Pot.
Ace pot of $558 rolled over from previous league, capped at $600 at which point backup Ace Pot is started.

Over the course of the series, players will compete on the Red Course, the Red/Green Course (9 of the longest red course holes have been shortened to be around 350′ or less), and a slightly modified version of the Gold Course (alt. tees on holes 6 & 17).

REGISTRATION:
Players must register and prepay for each event through Discgolfscene.com. Course schedule and weekly registration links can be found above in the Schedule.

Cards/tee times may include players from a mix of divisions since players choose their tee times during registration and everyone plays the same course each week regardless of division.

Player check-in will be inside the Pro Shop.

LIVE SCORING:
Scoring will be handled using PDGA Live Scoring, now available as a downloadable app for your smartphone, or at https://www.pdga.com/score/ and the access code will be provided at check-in. 

*Due to an error with the PDGA’s league tracking system, you may notice duplicate player listings on the PDGA results page and when adding players to PDGA Live Scoring. If you see duplicate player listings when starting a scorecard, choose the option without a “1” in the name. We are attempting to note the erroneous duplicate listings by adding a “1” to the player name. Names with a “1” should not be used.

PAYOUTS & RESULTS:
Payouts will happen following each event via PayPal for Pros and scrip for Ams will be loaded onto gift cards which will be available in the Pro Shop. After each event, a link to view the payouts will be added next to that week’s registration link above in the Schedule. Payouts will also be shared through our Facebook page and on the Events Bulletin Board in the clubhouse. 

Results will be posted on the PDGA Event page following each round.

ACE POT:
The Ace Pot started at $558 that rolled over from the previous league. It will be capped at $600 at which point a backup Ace Pot will be started. If Ace pot does not get hit, it will carry over to the next week. Any Ace pot money remaining at the end of league will remain in tact until the next league.

At the completion of 2023 Winter League the Ace Pot sits at $762 with a back up Ace Pot at the cap of $600. Both will roll over to 2023 Fall League.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
As per PDGA rules drinking alcohol is ok during league (PDGA leagues are the only sanctioned rounds that allow drinking). Must be of legal drinking age and adhere to WA state laws and KPDGR rules.

Motorized golf carts will not be allowed for players during league rounds (sorry, we do not have enough for everyone).
