A Disc Golfer’s Paradise
The Pitch & Putt Course, Red Course, and Gold Course are now open for play! Tee times are required for the red & gold courses. Purchase your Day Pass in the Pro Shop and enjoy as much disc golf as you can handle!
Once completed, Disc Golf Resort’s Kayak Point complex will be home to a total of 5 disc golf courses including an 18-hole pitch & putt course, two full size 18-hole courses mostly on the old golf fairways, and two full size 18-hole courses mostly in the woods. Plus the Kayak Point Disc Golf Pro Shop, a full service restaurant & bar, a brewery & taproom, and event rental facilities. Kayak Point will be the first and flagship location under the Disc Golf Resort brand name.
How to Choose the Right Course:
Our Course Design Philosophy
Welcome to Disc Golf Resort!
We offer a mix of disc golf courses that are specially designed to challenge players across the full range of skill levels, from true beginners to professionals. Each course is designed to offer a specific degree of difficulty for a certain skill level range, much like some other courses offer multiple tee pad options for each hole. DGR has adopted a color scheme that matches the PDGA’s player rating scale to help convey the skill level range that each course is designed to challenge. The PDGA and DGR skill level color scale is as follows:
- Purple – True beginner
- Green – Novice
- Red – Intermediate
- White – Intermediate / Advanced
- Blue – Advanced
- Gold – Pro
Instead of creating multiple tee pads for each hole that are meant to offer varying degrees of difficulty, DGR has designed separate courses. For the best experience and challenge for any player, we suggest playing the course that most closely matches your PDGA player rating. If you’re unsure of your rating, we suggest starting with the easiest course layout and progressing to more challenging courses as your scores dictate. While you may be interested in seeing how well you fair on the most difficult course, playing a course well above your skill level may not provide the most enjoyable experience.
If you’re still unsure which course is best for you or your group, just ask one of our team members and we’ll be happy to help you make the right choice.

Red – 18 hole

The Red Course plays on mostly open fairways though some tees and baskets are tucked into the trees along the fairways. Tee times are required. Max 4 people per card/tee time. See and download course map below.
White – 18 hole
18-hole course that will be geared towards Intermediate players. Plays mostly in the woods.
Blue – 18 hole
18-hole Amateur/Pro level course that will play through the woods with tighter fairways and more heavily guarded baskets.
This course is currently being built! Watch our Facebook page for Work Party announcements. We trade Day Passes for volunteer hours.
Gold – 18 hole
18-hole Pro level course that plays on old fairways with some wooded shots, extra long distances, and technical lines. This is the most difficult course in the DGR lineup.
